1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of services provided by Foresite Logistics ("Company," "we," or "us"). By using our services, you ("Customer") agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before engaging with our courier services.

2. Services Provided

Foresite Logistics provides a variety of delivery and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Courier Services
  • Total fleet management
  • Deliveries and Pick ups (Ad-hoc Services)
  • Airport freight pickups
  • Company fleet supplementation (outside hire)
  • Import and export services
  • Labor services

3. Bookings and Cancellations

3.1 Booking Process: All courier services must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or email. Bookings are confirmed only when the Customer receives a booking confirmation.

3.2 Cancellations: Customers can cancel a booking with no charge if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the pickup time may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the minimum charge for the service booked.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing: Prices for our services are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and distance. Additional charges may apply for special handling, insurance, or other premium services.

4.2 Payment Terms: Payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. For business clients, payment terms are subject to contractual agreements. Late payments may incur additional charges.

4.3 Taxes: All prices are subject to applicable taxes (such as GST).

5. Pickup and Delivery

5.1 Pickup: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their items are ready for collection at the scheduled time and address.

5.2 Delivery: Delivery times provided by the Company are estimates only. While we strive to meet delivery deadlines, we do not guarantee delivery by a specific time and are not liable for delays.

5.3 Failed Delivery Attempts: If delivery is unsuccessful due to the recipient's unavailability or incorrect address information, additional charges may apply for redelivery.

6. Customer Obligations

6.1 Proper Packaging: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their items are properly packaged to withstand transport. The Company will not be liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging.

6.2 Prohibited Items: Customers must not send any prohibited items, including but not limited to hazardous materials, perishable goods, illegal items, or items restricted by law. A full list of prohibited items is available on our website.

6.3 Accurate Information: The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete details regarding the shipment, including the correct address, item description, and weight.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Limited Liability:Foresite Logistics exercises reasonable care in handling and transporting all goods. However, our liability for any loss, damage, or delay is limited to the standard coverage included with the service and does not exceed the defined insurance cap.

7.2 Insurance: All shipments include complimentary insurance cover up to $800. No additional or premium coverage is available beyond this default limit.

7.3 Exclusions: The Company is not liable for any loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, accidents, strikes, or governmental actions.

8. Claims

8.1 Filing a Claim: Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the expected delivery date. 8.2 Processing of Claims: Foresite Logistics will review and respond to all claims within 30 days. All claim decisions made by the Company are consideredĀ final.

9. Customer Conduct

Customers must treat our staff, drivers, and partners with respect. Any abusive behavior may result in the cancellation of services and refusal of future business.

10. Privacy Policy

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

12. Amendments

Foresite Logistics reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
